چکیده
Low level or no use of organic and inorganic fertilizers serious imbalances soil nutrients, depressed potato yields pose accelerated mining native nutrients. Present on-farm studies was undertaken to observe the combined effects FYM compost along with fertilizers, particularly NPSB on production. The experiment comprised seven treatments: No fertilizer, recommended NP (115 kg N 92 ha-1 P2O5), P2O5, 6.5 S. 0.71 B ha-1), 10 tone ha-1, 5 + 50% (57.5 P2O5 were arranged in RCBD three replications. yield components collected subjected mean separation economic analysis. analysis variance indicated that either applied alone significantly (p ≤ 0.05) improved at Chena. Full dose each compost, rate gave similar yield. highest average marketable total fresh tuber (27.44, 27.92 t respectively) recorded by application ha-1) which is economically acceptable MRR (1239.7%), whereas lowest (14.45 obtained from unfertilized plot. Hence, proved best study area. Int. J. Agril. Res. Innov. Tech. 12(1): 18-22, June 2022

Involvement of Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) MKK6 in Response to Potato virus Y
Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades have crucial roles in the regulation of plant development and in plant responses to stress. Plant recognition of pathogen-associated molecular patterns or pathogen-derived effector proteins has been shown to trigger activation of several MAPKs. This then controls defence responses, including synthesis and/or signalling of defence hormones and act...

The experiment was conducted during the period from January to December, 2008 at the Laboratory of Biotechnology, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Gazipur, Bangladesh. A two step procedure was followed for direct plant regeneration of potato. Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium supplemented with 0.5 mg l -1 IBA and 30 g sugar was used for in vitro potato plants development via noda...

To evaluate the effect of herbicide band application and cultivator on weed control, yield and yield components of potato, an experiment was conducted using factorial arrangement based on randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications at Research Field of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran during 2015. Experimental factors included cultivator at two levels (with and w...
متن کاملShoot, Stolon, and Tuber Formation on Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) Cuttings in Response to Photoperiod.
The intensity of "tuberization stimulus" in potato shoots (Solanum tuberosum L.) can be assessed from cuttings containing one or more leaves. Cuttings maintained in a mist chamber under long days will form tubers from underground buds if prior to taking the cutting the leaves received sufficient exposure to photoperiods less than the critical photoperiod. The greatest tendency to tuberize was f...
